1) Grilled Pork Chops And Pineapple
It is super healthy and only needs five ingredients to cook – peeled pineapple, pork chops, orange marmalade, plain Greek yogurt, and fresh thyme.
How To Make – Cut pineapple into 1/2 inch slices. Take trimmed pork chops and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place chops in the Big Green Egg to grill, and turn them over. Grill pineapple side by side. Brush chops with 1 tablespoon marmalade, and grill for 3-5 minutes more. When the pork is no longer pink, take it out on a plate and serve with pineapple and a yogurt and marmalade mixture.
2) Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers
Perfect for necessary indulgence, bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers combine the smokey flavor of bacon with the spiciness of jalapenos and make your taste buds explode.
How To Make – Take fresh jalapenos, cut them in half, and remove the insides. For the filling, take Italian sausage and cook it with chorizo for a few minutes. Cool the mixture and put the pan on one side. Take cream cheese (or any cheese you like) and combine it with sun-dried tomatoes, scallions, and meat. Fill each jalapeno with the mixture, wrap it with bacon, and cook in the Big Green Egg at about 350-400F.
3) Pistachio Pudding Cake
Yes, even desserts like pudding cake can be made in the Big Green Egg! For any pistachio lover, this is a must-try recipe. It is super easy and can be made with few ingredients!
How To Make – Prepare the ingredients – 1 box yellow cake mix, 3 small boxes of pistachio pudding dry mix, 1/2 cup sunflower oil, 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup sour cream, and 4 eggs. Set the EGG for indirect cooking with the convEGGtor at 350°F. Mix all the ingredients well, pour into a greased and floured pan, and bake for an hour. 4) Grilled Shrimp, Romaine and Avocado Salad
This recipe is an example that a dish does not have to be elaborate to taste heavenly! A delicious combination of fulfilling and nutritious, this grilled shrimp salad can be made in Big Green Egg for brunch!
How To Make – Create 12 cheese balls (goat cheese) and coat them with crushed unsalted peanuts. Set the EGG for direct cooking without the convEGGtor at 400°F/204°C. Skewer the shrimps, brush with olive oil, and grill for about 4 minutes.
Cut the avocados and romaine hearts lengthways in halves and brush each half with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, and place cut side down on the grill for one minute (3-4 minutes for avocados). Assemble the shrimps, cut tomatoes, avocados, and cheese balls and drizzle with vinaigrette.
5) Savory Meatloaf
Savory meatloaf is a family favorite! But with Big Green Egg, you can give this recipe a new twist.
How To Make – Set the EGG for indirect cooking, with the convEGGtor, at 350°F/177°C. Cook the onion, carrot, and bell pepper in a cast-iron skillet for about 15 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes more. Now, mix ground meat with breadcrumbs, eggs, 2 tbsp of Worcestershire, wine, herbs, and cooled vegetables. Place the mixture in a loaf pan and cook until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 155°F/69°C. Coat the loaf with a mixture of ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire, and cook for another 10 minutes. It’s good to go!
